there truly is nothing better than waking up early and getting on the road before the sun is up. and that is just what we did last thursday. the bean ate before we left and she was ready for her first long car ride. she was a trooper really. she napped and played and napped some more. before you knew it we were in line for opening day. perfect weather, tons of people and funnel cake for breakfast.
the whole weekend was just what we needed. quality time with the family. lots of good food. springy weather. and proof that the bean loves a good ole fashioned road trip just like her mommy and daddy.

I want it on record that I did not really let the baby drive the car...very far.
