outdoorsy

i am not such a fan of the outdoors.

i get hot. it's muddy. i have allergies. there are bugs.

i am good inside.

my daughter is challenging my not-so-love of the outdoors.

she loves nothing more than playing with sticks. walking around on the sidewalk. chasing ants. and building leaf piles. she flips out when we go inside. and she has yet to taste a rock she doesn't like.

yesterday she discovered a fun new game. how many rocks can i pick up and throw into mommy's flower pot (the one that never blossomed any actual flowers). seriously i am pretty sure she could have stayed out there all night.

yesterday she also met the garden gnome for the first time (only three dollars on the target clearance rack thankyouverymuch). they had a lovely conversation. she found his nose. and she gave him a kiss.

i guess maybe i am going to have to get used to mud and bugs.

Okay. That is it. You and I MUST be long lost sisters or something.

And our daughters? They have to be related somehow! Isabella loves the outdoors, too :)

And the gnome? Love it! And I think I love it even more that he is bean's friend :)

Honey, you'll have to start taking claritin everyday before you go out. You think it's bad now, wait until she's half your height and you're trying to carry her in kicking and sreaming. oh, wait you're tall it's me that's short. Nevermind that last comment. But, vitamin D is good for all and it makes you happy!
love ya,
me

Kyler loves to be outside too! I spent the first two years of his life outside with him. Luckily, now he is big enough to go outside by himself and play (in the fenced in backyard that is!). You'll get there someday too:)

I can't believe Beans is outside in long sleeves and pants and there isn't a drop of sweat in sight.

Maybe I need to move where you live. I am so jealous!!!

I just love the pics with the garden gnome. They really do look like they are having a fabulous conversation!

See that is the reason why Target is so necessary. :)

You will learn to love the outdoors. Before having babies, I had a tendency to stay inside too. But now, we all go stir crazy if it rains for two days in a row.

Love those shots of her with the gnome! So cute!
My son not only begs to go outside and has since Bean's age, but now also begs to go bye-bye to the store. He wants to be out and about all the time!

When did she get so BIG?

I'm the same way - I pretend to like the outdoors, but really I'd rather be sitting inside. Sad, but true. The more the kiddos keep dragging me out, the more I think I might grow to love it outside.

Max loves the outdoors and I have become accustomed to always being outside even in the winter. The pictures are adorable and thank goodness you have a nice yard.

Look at how much fun she's having! Yep, I think you're definitely going to be an outdoor mama!

Oh, the rock tasting! How could I forget about the rock tasting?!

Fly loves being outside and usually cries or throws a tantrum when I make him come inside. Like today.

The beans is eternally cute!
